Bunna Lawrie and Coloured Stone have been Australia's Premier Indigenous band since 1977. Coloured Stone have toured throughout Australia to remote Communities from Tasmania to Darwin, Australia Day Survival Concerts, the 1996 Launch of Clean Up The Nullarbor, NAIDOC Festivals, won many awards and have recorded and released albums.
Interest in First Australian art comes from a deep connection to the Possum family. We would like to see all Aboriginal artists receive their fair share and ownership of their art and some residual share of the sale. Proudly Australian owned and operated, Art from Australia is an Indigenous Art Code approved dealer member.
I have also worked with the Ngarigu people, the traditional owners for the ACT and surrounding mountains, in their quest for recognition.
